Culinary Styles Contests and Competitions
Calling all chefs, bakers, and food lovers… join your fellow culinary artists in one of the many contests and competitions offered this year at the L.A. County Fair! Here recipes come to life and the food is too pretty to eat!

Important Dates & Information:

Preserved Foods
• All entry forms due June 25, 2013
• Deliver all entries on Saturday, July 13, 2013 between the hours of 8am and 5pm only (if entries are mailed they must arrive by the 12th of July).
• Deliver entries with your typed recipe. All recipes MUST include the division & class number, and your name. Entries will not be accepted without it. Do not mail recipe with your entry form.
• Pick up of display jars only is on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 between the hours of
3pm and 7pm.
• No confirmation of entry will be sent.

Baked Foods
• All entry forms due August 2, 2013
• Deliver all entries on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 between the hours of 3pm and 7pm only.
• Deliver all entries with a typed recipe. All recipes MUST include the division & class number, and your name. Entries will not be judged without the recipe. Do not mail the recipe in with the entry form.
• No confirmation of entry will be sent.

Contest Entries
• All entry forms due August 2, 2013
• Delivery of entries will vary depending on the contest. Please refer to your contest for dates, delivery instructions, and times.
• All entries require that a typed recipe be brought with the item on the day of judging.
• All recipes MUST include the division & class number, and your name.
• Entry confirmation, and contest reminders will be sent out no later than the third
week of August.

Tablescaping Entries
• All entry forms due July 19, 2013
• Set up of tables is on Wednesday, August 28, 2013
• Pick up of all items is on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 7am to 8pm only.
• Entry confirmation, and contest reminders will be sent out by August 1st, if not sooner depending on when the contest fills.

Filling out your entry form:
• One entry per line only.
• Please print your name clearly. Your entry tag will reflect the name on your entry form.
• Under the section marked "Description" please indicate the specific flavor or type if the class number entered is described as "other, please specify". If your division and class numbers accurately describes your entry then you do not need to fill out the section
marked "Description".

Go to gate 1 off of McKinley Ave. and let the guard know you are here for take in and they will direct you.
