L.A. County Fair’s Senior Ballroom Dance Contest Results

Seven local couples from surrounding communities participated in this year’s Senior Ballroom Dance contest. Connie Dugan, of Arcadia and Sal Holguin, of Baldwin Park took first place in three of the seven dance categories in the Senior Ballroom Dance Contest on Wednesday, Sept. 10: fox trot, cha cha and rhumba. Marian Mack, of Rancho Cucamonga and Bob Newberger, of West Covina, placed first in swing and polka and Kuniko Jessup, of Whittier and Art Host, of Los Angeles took first place in the remaining two categories, waltz and tango.
