I was on the Junior Fair Board from 2004 through 2005. I shared many great experiences with the other four members and still see some of them around. I think the program is a great learning tool that teaches the teens that serve on it about business and a real responsibility. I enjoyed being on the Junior Fair Board because it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I was able to meet a lot of awesome and powerful people. Also, because of the Junior Fair Board I am now employed here at the L.A. County Fair and I am able to learn so much about the inner workings of a big business. I am glad I joined and advise any Junior or Senior to apply for it.
