With Fairplex Child Development Center’s Family Literacy Project

Parents, are you interested in continuing your education?

Increased education can lead to improved employment opportunities…Do you need a new or improved employment opportunities?

The Child Development Center’s new Family Literacy Project provides opportunities for families to increase their education, increase their parenting skills, knowledge of how children learn and provides children with especially designed literacy based curriculum.

How do you qualify?

If you have a child currently enrolled in the Child Development Center at Fairplex, or will be enrolling soon, you can sign up for the Pathways to Success Family Literacy Project. Qualifying parents will be eligible for scholarships which will cover the costs of adult education tuition.

1) English as a Second Language
2) G.E.D.
3) Basic Adult Education
4) Vocational Training

All parents enrolled in the project also participate in weekly parenting education classes designed to meet the needs of those enrolled. Parenting education includes interactive quality-time activities with your child, traditional parenting group sessions.
