Pomona, CA, Feb. 21, 2013 - College- and tech school-bound students can find answers to all their admissions and tuition questions at the spring So Cal College Fair, Mar. 6 at the Sheraton Fairplex Conference Center. Hosted by The Learning Centers at Fairplex, So Cal College Fair will feature nearly 100 colleges and tech schools, seminars and workshops geared toward helping students – and parents – find the road to success. Admission is free for the entire family. The So Cal College Fair, presented by Toyota and Wells Fargo, is open to all students throughout Southern California. Participating schools include liberal arts colleges, UCs, cosmetology, professional, technical and culinary schools. Workshops, presented by Wells Fargo, include: • How to get accepted into your first choice college with Joe Twohig • Understanding financial aid with Stephanie Hancock, CFP & CCPS • Athletic recruitment simplified with former Stanford University and NFL player Julian Jenkins Students may visit the onsite counselor center to ask questions about college requirements. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. Parking at the conference center is $5. Students can pre-register online at socalcollegefair.com and bring their barcode to the Fair to be scanned for a chance to win one of three scholarships in the amounts of $300, $500 and $1,000.
