The National Women’s Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation (NWCAVE) will be hosting their Southwest Conference Against Trafficking (SWCAT) in Pomona, CA in January.  The Southwest Conference Against Trafficking will bring three conferences together for one powerful, educational and inspirational weekend January 17-19, 2014 at the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center.

The National Women’s Coalition Against Violence & Exploitation has partnered with Transitions and Bilateral Safety Corridor Coalition to bring the conference to Southern California for a weekend you won’t want to miss.  The conference will offer breakout sessions, networking receptions, keynote speakers, continuing education units and author book signings.  The Jane Velez-Mitchell Journalism Award will also be presented on Saturday evening at the conference.
Speakers include: James and Athena Pond (Transitions), Marissa Ugarte (Bilateral Safety Corridor Coalition), Rachel Lloyd (GEMS), Michael Ramos (San Bernardino County District Attorney), Erin Runnion (The Joyful Child Foundation), Julian Sher (author of “Somebody’s Daughter”), and Melissa Farley (Prostitution Research & Education) to name a few of over 50 speakers, celebrities, and dignitaries that will be presenting!
