CTEC is a program of The Learning Centers at Fairplex, the educational arm of the organization. CTEC offers classes, free of charge, to local students in subjects that may no longer be available through their schools, such as visual art, automotive arts, horticulture, water technology and hospitality.
The CTEC art class is focused on creation, research, exhibition and the communication of fine art and design. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for continued study and work in college or in the workplace. Students explore concepts and build skills that can be applied to contemporary art practice in any field. Now it its fourth year, the CTEC art program proudly presents the work of our first-year students and those heading off to explore the world beyond high school. In addition, we will be exhibiting work from our talented alumni that have gone on to study and work in the creative fields of art and design.
