Volunteers are the cornerstone of Fairplex. From the first Los Angeles County Fair in 1922 to today, volunteers serve as Fairplex Ambassadors, supporting our mission and assisting our guests. Fairplex offers many opportunities to volunteer. Please sign up to be a Fairplex Ambassador.
Step 1: Fill out the volunteer application online by clicking here or download the application and either mail, fax or email it.
NOTE: You will be contacted within 48 hours of applying to schedule an in office interview.
Step 2: Complete an in office interview and schedule a Fairplex volunteer orientation. Background check will be completed following interview.
AFTER INTERVIEW IS COMPLETE PLEASE COMPLETE STEP 3
Step 3: Create an account on our volunteer portal.
It is easy using our online volunteer registration system.
Directions are provided below:
1. Go to the volunteer registration website at Volunteer Hub.
2. Create an account by clicking Register.
o Select a user name and password
o Input your contact information.
NOTE: At this point, you have not signed up for an event yet. You have only created an account. Your screening process will have to be completed before you can sign up for an event. You will be contacted via email as soon as the process has been completed. This can take up to two weeks.
Step 4: Attend a Fairplex Volunteer Orientation and Review Volunteer Positions after your screening process has been completed
The volunteer orientation will provide you with an understanding of Fairplex's Ambassador Program, information on how to get started, and answer any questions you might have. Click here to view volunteer postion descriptions.
Step 5: Start Volunteering!
Specific instructions vary per event and will be provided prior to volunteering.
