Dr. Ann Morgan, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Claremont. She lectures extensively and has done radio interviews throughout California. She has been a guest lecturer at Azusa Pacific University and has lectured and led training sessions for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the California Psychological Association, Pomona Valley Hospital, numerous senior centers, the San Bernardino County Department of Mental Health, the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health, and the National Council on Aging, to name just a few. Ann also serves as an adjunct professor in the College of Business and Public Management at the University of La Verne. Dr. Stephen Morgan was selected to serve as the seventeenth President of the University of La Verne (ULV) in February 1985. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Executive Director of the Independent Colleges of Northern California (1979-1985), Director of Development for the University of Southern California (1976-1979) and in a variety of positions at the University of La Verne (1968-1976), including Vice President for Development. Steve currently serves as chair of the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center Board of Directors and as a director for the Los Angeles County Fair Association and LeRoy Haynes Center. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities. Recently Steve was recognized by the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership as Educator of the Year and he was presented the Chief Executive Officer Leadership Award by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) – District VII. Ann and Steve are long-time contributors to and supporters of the Fairplex Education Foundation as well as our other foundations at Fairplex. As president of ULV, Steve championed the collaboration between ULV and the Child Development Center that designated CDC as a laboratory school and hands-on training site for ULV students pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degrees in early childhood education.
