WINNER ANNOUNCED IN THE TWINS-TRIPLETS MOST ALIKE AGES 4-8 DIVISION
DOUBLE TROUBLE- Abigial (left) and Brooklyn Merchant, 4, of San Pedro won first place in the four to eight year old division of the most alike twins contest, held Sept. 18 at the L.A. County Fair. The duo also took home sweepstakes for most alike twins, completing against all divisions in the twins and triplets contest.

WINNER ANNOUNCED IN THE MILLIE'S PIE EATING CONTEST - ADULT DIVISION
FAST EATING – Sandra Zakai of Sherman Oaks won first place in the 18 and older division of the Millie’s Restaurant & Bakery Pie Eating Contest held Sept. 17 at the L.A. County Fair. In two minutes Zakai was able to eat more of her pie than any other competitor, finishing the entire pie.

FAST EATING – Audriana Flick, 7, of Pomona won first place in the 9 and under division of the Millie’s Restaurant & Bakery Pie Eating Contest held Sept. 17 at the L.A. County Fair. In three minutes Flick was able to eat more of her pie than any other competitor.

WINNER ANNOUNCED IN THE MILLIE'S PIE EATING CONTEST - TEEN DIVISION
FAST EATING – Friends Levi Hunt, 16, (left) and Augie Russell, 15, both of Upland, tied for first place in the 10-17 yr. old division of the Millie’s Restaurant & Bakery Pie Eating Contest held Sept. 17 at the L.A. County Fair. In two and a half minutes Hunt and Russell were each able to eat more of their pies than any other competitor. Hunt also won the Millie’s Restaurant & Bakery Pie Eating Contest last year.

A spicy, creamy rendition of chicken enchiladas took the blue ribbon in the Hunt’s Tomato Products Perfect Mexican Meal contest Sept. 17 at the L.A. County Fair.

WINNER ANNOUNCED IN THE WATER BALLOON TOSS CONTEST
WET N’ WILD. . .Landon Gray, 10, and his father, Russ Gray, both of Rancho Cucamonga, won first place in the water balloon toss contest held Sept. 16 at the L.A. County Fair. Out of six pairs the Gray duo was able to toss their balloon the longest distance without breaking it.

WINNER ANNOUNCED IN POKER TOURNEY AT FAIRPLEX PARK
With a hand consisting of a lucky straight, Ken Granger, 63, of Hacienda Heights won the grand prize in the Texas Hold’em Poker Tourney held Sept. 15 at Fairplex Park. This was the first of two tournaments held during the L.A. County Fair, with all proceeds from both tournaments benefiting the Fairplex Education Foundation. The Foundation offers educational opportunities to surrounding communities during the Fair and year-round.
