King Taco, of Mexican food fame and one of Hispanic Business Magazine’s top 100 Hispanic businesses, returns to the L.A. County Fair supporting education by putting its name on the interactive, highly educational, family-friendly and fun attraction America’s Kids.
King Taco has 19 locations throughout Southern California. Its first Los Angeles location opened in 1974. Mexican food lovers attribute King Taco’s success on its use of fresh ingredients and its consistent quality. It has been a Fair favorite since 1996 with two prominent locations serving the distinctive King Taco fare all 23 days of the Fair. The restaurant made its inaugural presenting sponsor commitment in 2008, reaching out to its business communities and ultimately the families it serves.
America’s Kids is taking the plunge this year with a theme Under the Sea, incorporating the vast sea frontier to open a wonderful world of discovery. Guests will experience a life-sized kelp forest, Shark Shack, a live Wonders from the Sea show, entries submitted by youngsters to the Atlantis Museum of Art and a myriad of fun family activities.
More than 100,000 students from Southern California schools attend the Fair free of charge as part of the FairKids Discovery Club Field Trip program, with a visit to America’s Kids presented by King Taco high on its to-do list.
Through the participation of valued sponsors like King Taco, Fair programming is expanded and enhanced for Fairguests’ enjoyment; an impressive 1.4 million visitors annually.
