Earl M. “Sonny” Wilkinson, a resident of Rancho Cucamonga, a retired Los Angeles County Fair Association member and longtime staff member for the L.A. County Fair, passed away Oct. 25 following a short illness.
Wilkinson served as assistant general manager of the L.A. County Fair from 1978 to 1984 when he assumed the title of vice president and secretary for the association. He served in that capacity until he retired in 1987, giving more than 25 years of service to the Fair.
Wilkinson is survived by his wife Bess, daughter Nancy, and sons James and Brad. Services are pending.
