GOT MONSTER? HALLOWEEN ATTRACTION IS LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD MONSTERS, WEREWOLVES AND, OH YEAH, EVIL GUYS WITH SAWS
Scareview Farms will hold Monster Idol
Wanted: blood-curdling screamers with evil intentions and a knack for scaring the pants off people who can perform in front of a panel of judges scarier than Simon Cowell, then frighten thousands at the Inland Empire’s best Halloween attraction.
Nightmare at Scareview Farms, the annual Halloween attraction at Fairplex, is holding a Scareview Idol-type open audition for monsters, pirates, ghouls and zombies ages 18 years and older from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 26. Get your creep on and try out for a coveted spot in one of the five haunted mazes at Scareview Farms.
“Monsters don’t need anything but their screams and howls. We will provide the costumes,” said Ed Mendez with RWB Party Props, the production company that puts on Scareview Farms.
Scareview Idol will be held at the Big Red Barn, which turns into Scareview Farms in October. There will be a temporary haunted maze set up just for the audition. Participants can enter at Gate 1 on McKinley Avenue.
Nightmare at Scareview Farms returns with five intense, horrific mazes to scare guests to death, including The Bride of Pitchfork, Cleopatra’s Tomb, Transylvania Terror, Skull Island and Zombies of the Grave. The event runs Thursday – Saturday, Oct. 14-16 and 21-23 and Thursday – Sunday, Oct. 28-31, from 7-11 p.m.
