The 2010 L.A. County Fair is looking for candidates to be Fair mascots at various community events and during the Fair. The Fair runs Sept. 4-Oct. 3, but those hired to be mascots will be needed throughout the summer.
Candidates must be outgoing, energetic, and creative with a strong work ethic. They must be at least 16 years old and have reliable transportation in order to be considered. Applicants must be physically capable of performing the requirements involved, which include the ability to wear and be mobile and interactive in a size-specific body costume – including character head – for extended periods of time (with periodic breaks). All candidates must be responsible, prompt, and flexible to varying circumstances… and of course, Pure. Fun. the theme of the 2010 event.
