Leslie Galerne-Smith has joined the Los Angeles County Fair Association as public relations and communications manager effective Aug. 2. Galerne-Smith was most recently senior account executive since 2006 with The Rogers Group, a Los Angeles-based public relations agency. Galerne-Smith worked with a variety of clients including L.A. Auto Show, Kellogg’s, Los Angeles Police Foundation and more. The Fair Association is a client of The Rogers Group and Galerne-Smith is very knowledgeable about the facility having worked closely with both Fairplex and the Fair.
She is a graduate of University of Southern California with a degree in political science. She has an extensive background in public relations having also worked for Rogers & Cowan public relations firm.
Galerne-Smith will be responsible for LACFA internal and external communications for all of Fairplex’s business units including the annual L.A. County Fair. She can be reached at Galerne@fairplex.com.
