A portion of White Avenue in Pomona will be closed to traffic beginning at approximately 8:30 p.m. during KABOOM! Fairplex’s Independence Day fireworks spectacular Monday, July 4. KABOOM! is presented by Toyota, Coca-Cola & Sauza Tequila.
The street will be closed between Arrow Highway and McKinley Avenue during the fireworks show and the following clean-up period. Vehicles will not be allowed to park on this section of White Avenue at any time during the festivities, and there is also no parking on residential streets surrounding Fairplex. Vehicles can park for $9 at Fairplex through Gate 17 on Fairplex Drive throughout the evening. Parking gates at Fairplex open at 5 p.m.
KABOOM! action gets underway at 8 p.m. with Big Air Freestyle motocross, followed by Monster Trucks including Bounty Hunter and culminating with monster grounds and aerial fireworks presented by Pyro Spectaculars by Souza of Rialto. The amazing fireworks display is themed Red, White & BOOM. The choreographed patriotic presentation will last approximately 20 minutes.
Reserved box seats are $19.50, trackside bleachers, $17.50 and general admission, $15. Ages 2 and younger are admitted free.
