The best way to see the country is to hit the road – in an RV.
The Giant L.A. RV Show, which rolls into Fairplex Dec. 26-Jan. 5, makes it easy for prospective recreational vehicle owners to find just the right one by putting coaches, financing and even driving lessons in one location. The show will be in the White Avenue lot at Gate 14. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 26-31 and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 2-5. There is no charge for admission.
Giant RV, one of the largest and fastest growing dealerships in the country, sponsors the show. It hosts RV shows throughout the year, with the Fairplex show being the largest. Three hundred recreational vehicles, including 2004 models, will be on hand, ranging in price from $10,000 to $500,000. Manufacturer rebates are available to help with down payments. Lenders and banks will also have representatives at the show for instant financing. Interest rates are at their lowest in 30 years, making qualifying for a loan the easiest it has ever been.
For those new to the RV world, free driving lessons through an obstacle course will teach drivers how to maneuver the coach and how to back up. There will also be information on the tax benefits of owning an RV.
According to the Go RVing Coalition, RVs offer freedom, flexibility and fun. RVs offer more control, convenience and comfort than other forms of travel. Nationwide, there are more than 16,000 campgrounds catering to RVs.
Every coach will be discounted and prices and monthly payments clearly marked to provide a no-hassle shopping experience.
