Put on your swim trunks and bring the family to Fairplex to celebrate the arrival of warm weather and fun in the sun at the 17th Annual Spring Boat Show and the Spa, Pool and Patio Show.
With summer just days away, the Southern California Marine Association’s 17th Annual Spring Boat Show will float in June 5-8. The show features recreational boats and personal watercraft of all sizes from the top names in boat manufacturing.
More than 100 exhibitors will also be at hand with the most up-to-date information, marine accessories and parts for pleasure boats and personal watercraft. Pleasure boats that range from affordable to luxury will be displayed by Advantage Boats, Bayliner, Chaparral, Eliminator, Hallett, Sea Ray and others. Personal watercraft by Honda, Kawasaki, Sea Doo and Yamaha will also be exhibited.
The show is a great opportunity for people who desire to vacation close to home and those who want to take advantage of the upcoming boat and accessory sales.
“With the interest rates staying low, it makes buying a boat affordable,” said David Geoffroy, executive director of SCMA. “Our members report that business is as good or better than last year.”
After finding the watercraft of your family’s dreams, head to the West Coast’s largest display of patios and spas so the family can relax at home after a weekend of boating. The Spa, Pool and Patio Show rolls in June 6-8, featuring more than 100 spas. Twenty-five manufacturers will present pools, patio furniture, landscaping, barbeques, decks, saunas and playground equipment from the biggest names in the business will also be on display.
Amish gazebos that are handcrafted in Lancaster, Penn., and enjoyed by Clint Eastwood, Billy Joel, Jerry Seinfeld and Sylvester Stallone will be featured alongside the newest spa technology - the Spa Theater System. The STS technology includes pop up speakers, a 13-inch color television, VCR, stereo and a CD player.
“If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a spa, this is the event to attend,” says Tim Baele, president of Master Spas, the company that is sponsoring the event.
