For nearly a century the Souza family has entertained audiences by painting the sky with color. This summer, Pyro Spectaculars will again offer a sensory explosion when it presents “The American Journey” at KABOOM!, Fairplex’s July 4th extravaganza.
KABOOM! will kick off at 8 p.m. with the outrageous Monster Truck and Big Air MotoX show. The monster fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m. The event is sponsored by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, Cal Spas and the city of Pomona. KFRG and KLOS will be in attendance as radio partners.
Pyro Spectaculars has achieved its reputation as Fireworks Ambassadors to the World by entertaining millions of spectators at the Olympics, Fourth of July and New Year’s celebrations, Super Bowl events, rock concerts and theme parks – each one an original performance.
The Rialto-based company has been behind the KABOOM! shows for 17 years. One of the largest and most spectacular fireworks extravaganzas in the Inland Empire, “The American Journey” will light up the night with skyrockets, mid-level fireworks and lower level sets choreographed to a patriotic musical program.
With each show, Pyro Spectaculars uses its creative team of writers, artists, and engineers to develop an original story concept. As the preeminent pyrotechnic company, it has worked to develop safety regulations and guidelines. Pyro Spectaculars was one of the first in the world to use electronic and computer firing systems.
