Pigs, lambs, cows and horses are decorating local streets. They are all peeking out of the creative signs as part of the L.A. County Fair’s street banner program. Dates for the Fair are Sept. 12-28. The Fair is offering businesses, organizations, clubs, families and individuals an opportunity to purchase and advertise on souvenir Fair banners. The first banners will begin flying on July 1 and there is still time to be part of this community-spirited program.
In the program, individuals’ or organizations’ names will be displayed on a 14” x 36” area of a four-color, two-sided high resolution, quality exterior vinyl banners, along with Fair artwork – renderings of a horse, pig, lamb or cow – and the 2003 L.A. County Fair logo. The banners will be placed on major thoroughfares throughout Southern California communities. After the Fair, the banners will be available for partners to pick up.
The banners will be displayed in high-traffic locations and remain in position through the run of the Fair. Partners may select a location from the available inventory of utility poles in approved cities on a first-come, first-served basis. Discounts are available for non-profit organizations and for multiple banners. Partners will also receive two complimentary general admission weekday tickets per banner to the 2003 L.A. County Fair.
