Kidsfaire offers more than 350 interactive exhibits, entertainment, crafts and food for the entire family. The hours of the event are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and $2 for children ages 2-12.
Special guests for the weekend include Bob the Builder, Rugrats, Clifford the big red dog, Garfield the cat and Spider Man. Kidsfaire entertainment includes the Family Adventure Zone, puppet shows, magicians, jugglers, rides and arts and crafts. Visit Safari Town and meet cheetahs and other jungle creatures. There will be petting zoos, farm animals and pony rides.
Clown Town offers kids the chance to play side by side with the best clowns on the planet. Learn to juggle, ride a unicycle or fly high on a trapeze. At the Children’s International Village, kids can learn about various cultures and customs through song and dance, costumes and story telling. Make fun arts and crafts projects inside Artists Alley, and create everything from high-flying kits to birdhouses. Craft City features the handmade wares from hundreds of artisans. And Kids Café offers healthy snacks and drinks.
Bring a gently used book to Kidsfaire and save $1 while helping to reach the goal of collecting 100,000 books for California Head Start. Visit the Head Start Celebrity Reading Corner to see your favorite children’s characters appearing with local television news personalities.
