Metrolink is offering special and trouble-free transportation for commuters to the L.A. County Fair. The Fair is scheduled for Sept. 12-28 at Fairplex in Pomona.
Metrolink service allows Fairguests to be delivered Thursday through Sunday at the Fairplex Metrolink Station, located between Fairplex Drive and Arrow Highway. Metrolink riders and pedestrians will then be transported by Fairplex trams to the Yellow Gate entrance of the Fair.
Metrolink service on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26, runs between Los Angeles Union Station and San Bernardino. Services on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28, runs between Los Angeles Union Station and Downtown Riverside, with multiple stops at the Fairplex platform throughout the day.
Metrolink tickets may be purchased at the ticket booths located at the Fair entrance. When guests leave the Fair, they should allow at least 30 minutes to get back to the Fairplex Metrolink platform. Trains may depart up to 5 minutes early.
