What: Traffic Safety Day at L.A. County Fair
When: Tuesday, Sept. 16
Demonstrations begin at 11 a.m.

Where: Festival Plaza
Contreras-Sweet will present checks to local agencies for two county-wide traffic safety grants that include enforcement operations and education for teens.
Approximately 35 agencies will have displays on DUI, seat belt safety, speed, illegal street racing, pedestrian and bike safety, plus special enforcement equipment, antique police cars and motors.
Elvis and the Lawmen, a traffic safety program that includes an Elvis impersonator, will be here. “Elvis” will be singing the “Star Spangled Banner.”
