       Winners from the L.A. County Fair’s Hidden Valley The Original Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix “Family Friendly Food” Contest have been announced. The contest was held Sept. 20.
       The contest received 28 entries.  Entries were judged on family appeal, taste appeal, appearance and ease of preparation.  Each recipe was required to use at least one packet of Hidden Valley The Original Ranch Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix.
       First prize went to Lynn Davis of Moreno Valley for her entry of Hidden Valley Ranch Wrap-ups.  Second place went to Patricia Knighton of San Diego for her entry of Hidden Valley Ranch Mediterranean Rice Salad.  Third place went to Kimberly Dame of Lake Elsinore for her entry of Cheese Puffs. 
       First place was awarded $175 and a ribbon.  Second place was awarded $100 and a ribbon.  Third place was awarded $50 and a ribbon.  In addition, first through third place were awarded an award and an apron.
