Entries are due by Aug. 31 for the Mini Sheep Showmanship, Sheep Fitting Contest, Mini Lads and Lassies, and the Mini Costume Contest at the 80th anniversary of the L.A. County Fair, Sept. 13-29, at Fairplex in Pomona. There are no entry fees for these divisions.
The Mini Sheep Showmanship will be held on Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. in Ring 1. Exhibitors must be between the ages of 5-8. The Sheep Fitting Contest will be held Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. in Ring 1. All juniors under the age of 22 are welcome to enter. Mini Lads and Lassies will be featured on Sept. 22 in Ring 1, as will the Western National Junior Lead at 2:30 in Ring 1. The Mini-Costume Contest will be held on Sept. 16, Ring 1 at 2 p.m. for exhibitors between the ages of 5-8.
