It’s spring. The flowers are blooming in the garden bed. The lawn is green. The house looks great. Or does it? Are those dandelions creeping out of the grass? Is that exotic plant in the garden really a weed? Could a new coat of paint spruce up the den?
If the house and yard need a little brightening, the Pomona Home and Garden Show scheduled for April 2-4 at Fairplex is a great place to get ideas.
Whether it is something major like redoing the plumbing or minor like planting bulbs, the Pomona Home and Garden Show will have a consultant available to answer questions and help in home improvement endeavors. Pools, cabinets, even vacuum cleaners – exhibitors will be selling a variety of goods.
Admission to the show is free. Hours are Friday from 2-7 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking is at Gate 14 off White Avenue, with preferred parking at Sheraton Suites Fairplex hotel.
Home Show Consultants, organizer of the Pomona Home and Garden Show, is celebrating its 27th year.
