Currently the Web site has received 18,206,270 hits between the months of January and May and the number will increase dramatically at Fair time. Last September the Web site received 42,519,329 hits.
On the Web site you will find information on everything from food, entertainment, competitions, ticket information and a guide to all the hot spots at this year’s Fair, which takes place Sept. 10-26.
The Web site features information about the End of Summer Concert Series, held on the Los Angeles Newspaper Group grandstand stage, which hosts the hottest names and acts in entertainment. Past performers include Willie Nelson, Earth Wind & Fire and Fair favorite WAR.
The 2004 line-up will be announced in July along with tickets online for those who wish reserved seating for the grandstand entertainment. General admission seating is free with regular Fair admission.
The Web site also allows visitors to view exhibits and attractions links for information previewing the Flower and Garden Pavilion, FairView Farms, Millard Sheets Gallery and Action Avenue among others.
A visit to the 2004 Fair preview link provides an overview of the Fair. There you will find links for the feature attraction, titled “The Beat Goes On! The History of Popular Music,” presented by AT&T Wireless, and other themed attractions.
For those who cannot wait, advance tickets are available online beginning in July. Entry forms for Fair competitions are available now.
