PETTING ZOO AND PIG RACES ENTERTAIN FAIRGUESTS

Good, clean family fun returns to the L.A. County Fair as Fairguests indulge in Fair favorites such as a petting zoo, pony rides and Hedrick’s Pig Races, presented by Ralphs. The Fair runs Sept. 10-26.
Always popular with Fairguests, Animal Adventures Unlimited allows people of all ages to visit, pet and feed baby exotic and domestic animals. No where else do children have the opportunity to ride a purebred Welsh pony and see baby piglets. The petting zoo is located in Hidden Meadows Park and requires a small entrance fee.
Still searching for fun? The Pig Races return, presented by Ralphs. Here since 1998, the speedy porcines allow visitors to ham it up for their favorite porker to bring home the bacon.
Real road hogs race snout-to-snout, slab-to-slab, kicking mud as they slip and slide around the turns and down the ham stretch to their ultimate goal, an Oreo cookie. The Pig Races, presented by Ralphs appear several times a day, and are located in The Shopping Place.
