Spice up your day with some flavor from South of the Border in Plaza de las Américas, presented by Hoy and Bud Light, at this year’s L.A. County Fair, Sept. 10-26.
Plaza de las Américas’ new look includes a touch of Latin cultures from Mexico to South America.
Fairguests can taste delicious cultural treats like fresh cucumbers and satisfy that sweet tooth with Mexican candy. The morning menu features breakfast burritos, lunch features tacos and taquitos with fresh guacamole and at dinnertime sink your teeth into plates of enchiladas, rice and beans.
See beautifully made clothing and purchase various handmade clothing all while dancing to the captivating beat of talented Latin American musicians. Fairguests can decorate their homes with hand-crafted furniture directly from Mexico. Other items include Mexican pottery, elegant glassware and dishware. Traditional Mexican games and crosses as well as Huichol traditional art will also be available.
At the Plaza de las Américas Stage, daytime entertainment features authentic Latin dancers that entertain visitors and bring color and spice to the cultural marketplace. During Fair After Dark, guests can dance the night away to Cumbia and Salsa music. Also featured will be Mariachi bands and Ballet Folklorico dancers.
