After wowing fans’ fannies at 15 fairs in 2001, Charmin Ultra is re-releasing its greatest hit to give L.A. County fairgoers the best of the “rest” rooms.
The special bathrooms located at have been “Charminized” or transformed into a comfortably clean oasis that fairgoers wouldn’t typically expect from a public restroom. “Charminizing” touches include aromatherapy, constant maintenance and, of course premium Charmin Ultra bath tissue, which has just been improved to be the softest, thickest and most absorbent bath tissue available.
“Last year, Charmin Ultra delighted more than 4 million fairgoers across the country -- 158,000 of them at the L.A. County Fair– by offering the best seat in the house,” said Diane Cercle, Charmin brand manager. “We’re happy to reunite L. A. County fairgoers with the comfortably clean bathroom experience only Charmin can provide.”
In addition to the new Charmin Ultra, other “Charminized” amenities include planters and built-in shelves at individual stalls and soothing music. The star of the Reunion Tour and Charmin’s advertising, the Charmin Bear, also will be on hand to take photos and give his “pawtagraph.”
Charmin will go through at least 4,700 rolls of Charmin Ultra bath tissue by the time the L.A. County Fair ends, says Cercle.
