BREADWORLD.COM BREAD COMPETITION WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Winners of the Fleischmann’s Yeast breadworld.com bread competition at the L.A. County Fair have been announced. The event was held Sept. 17. Taking first place was parent-child team Cherri Kruggel, and Eric, 8, of Etiwanda for their Cherri’s Carmel Apple Cinnamon Rolls. They received $150. In second place was Kathryn Chambliss of San Dimas for her Breakfast in Bread entry. She received $60. Taking third place was Jennifer Cruz of La Verne for her Challah. She received $40. All winners received ribbons, certificates and aprons. The first place winners are automatically entered in the national competition. The winner of that will be announced in January.
