Cornucopia Foods, Sheraton Suites Fairplex hotel offer holiday parties
for brunch, lunch or dinner
Decking the halls for the office holiday party has never been easier. Cornucopia Foods, the new food and beverage company at Fairplex, and Sheraton Suites Fairplex hotel each have a variety of festive party plans for every budget and menu.
Whether it is a major corporate formal dinner affair or a casual lunch, Cornucopia Foods is prepared to serve, said sales manager David Aldrete.
“We can tailor a menu to anything from sandwiches to a full service elegant meal,” Aldrete said.
Sheraton Suites Fairplex can entertain in one of the ballrooms in the hotel or at a “winter wonderland” at a Holiday Pavilion on the Fairplex grounds. The hotel offers an extensive menu.
“We serve everything from traditional meals to filet to salmon. One of our returning clients is requesting Mexican. So there really is a variety,” said Jim Boitnott, sales and marketing director for Sheraton Suites Fairplex. He added that prices range from budget-conscious lunches to upscale dinners.
Cornucopia offers parties at four locations at Fairplex: the newly renovated Avalon restaurant; the more intimate Directors’ Dining Room; Top of the Park restaurant, located in the grandstand at Fairplex Park racetrack; and Barretts Hinds Pavilion. Cornucopia Foods currently does not offer off-site catering.
Cornucopia Foods and Sheraton Suites Fairplex have the flexibility to serve whatever size party a company or organization desires – from 10 to 10,000.
A new trend that Aldrete expects companies to endorse is a brunch or lunch holiday office party.
“A lot of offices are doing this, where they work half day, have their lunch party then head home,” said Aldrete. He added that it is easier on the budget and leaves evenings free for other activities during the busy holiday season.
Several menu options are offered by Cornucopia Foods, ranging from $12.95 to $44.95 per person. Menu items range from sandwiches to full holiday meals with turkey, ham and all the fixings.
Sheraton Suites Fairplex prices range from $31.95 to $49 per person.
Only a few evening slots remain for both Cornucopia Foods and the Sheraton Suites Fairplex, so early booking is encouraged.
