The crowd loves them and Fairplex has them. Monster trucks, monster freestyle motocross extreme and monster fireworks presented by the monster fireworks company in the country, Pyro Spectaculars, presenters of Olympic events, all return in winning form for KABOOM! Fairplex’s 4th of July Fireworks extravaganza on Monday, July 4.

You’re not likely to forget the antics of riders Billy Walls, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Dave Demangos and Jeremy Lufk as they fly through the air with, what at least looks like, the greatest of ease. Then bring on the big boys. The monster trucks are led by current world champion Bounty Hunter and challengers Natural High, Iron Outlaw, Unnamed Untamed and Nasty Boy. Following the adrenalin blast is a themed fireworks presentation by the premier fireworks company in the country. The patriotically themed “Lights of Freedom” mid-level, sky-level and ground-level fireworks is the perfect accompaniment for Independence Day.
Reserved box seats are $19.50, trackside bleachers $16, general seating $12 and free for ages 2 and younger. Parking is at Gate 17 on Fairplex Drive. For the safety and enjoyment of guests there are no ice chests, alcoholic beverages, fireworks, cans or bottles allowed inside the facility.
This show has been a sell-out for the past three years and anticipates being a crowd-pleaser again in 2005. Tickets are available beginning May 16 at the Fairplex credentials office, www.fairplex.com, www.ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster locations. The Fairplex credentials office will be open weekdays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Saturday, July 2, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Sunday, July 3, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday, July 4, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and at the grandstand box office from 6-9:30 p.m.
