The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum at Fairplex in Pomona will host the Hot Wheels® Custom Car Show Saturday, July 9. Produced by Hot Wheels® and Prestige Hobbies, the car show will feature a custom car contest including repair, diorama and kids kustoms categories. There will also be autograph sessions with drag race legends. Among those scheduled to appear are Don Prudhomme, Tom McEwen, John Force, Dale Armstrong, Tommy Ivo, Roland Leong, Robert Hight, Gary Cochran, Brandon Bernstein, Bob Muravez, Dale Pulde, Art Chrisman, Kuhl and Olson, master of ceremonies Dave McLellan and Hot Wheels® designers.
The Hot Wheels® Custom Car Show will have exclusive Hot Wheels® cars for sale made especially for this event. There will also be HWC™ vending machines, a live custom “build-off” where Hot Wheels® cars will be customized while you watch. There will also be various Hot Wheels® racing events for kids, raffle prizes and more.
General admission to the car show is $10; kids 12 and younger are admitted free. Parking is at Gate 1 on McKinley Avenue. The car show is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
