The L.A. County Fair has teamed up with a number of local and national sponsors to offer visitors to the 2002 Fair great deals and terrific savings. The Fair runs Sept. 13-29.
Opening Day will feature a $1 admission, presented by the Los Angeles Newspaper Group. A $5 after 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday special is offered courtesy of Bank of America.
General admission will be offered through AT&T at a special discount of $8 and children 6-12 for $4.50, with children 5 and younger free. Tickets are on sale at Southern California AT&T Wireless stores.
Ralphs grocery stores are offering the Ralphs Big Value Pack, a more than $70 value for $26. The Big Value Pack features two Fair general admission tickets, two 10-ride weekday carnival wristbands, and more than $20 in coupons for food, beverages, carnival rides and games from Ray Cammack Shows Carnival and Ralphs. The Big Value Pack is good Monday through Friday, Sept. 16-20 and 23-27 only. Coupons will be available beginning Sept. 1 at participating Ralphs grocery stores.
Rite Aid pharmacies are offering the Rite Aid Carnival Wristband Coupon, a
weekday, 10-ride carnival wristband available for $10, a $5 savings. Coupons are
available beginning Sept. 6.
How about this – spend the weekend doing home improvements and relax on Monday by going to the Fair. Home Depot is offering a $5 adult admission coupon for Home Depot Mondays Sept. 16 and 23. Admission is good for all day. Coupons are available at participating Home Depot stores.
Buy a 24-pack of Coca-Cola and get a buy-one and get-one free coupon for a
ride on La Grande Wheel. The new La Grande Wheel is taller than the Statue of
Liberty, 160 feet high with 36 gondolas for riders to sit back and enjoy the ride and the
