Decking the halls for the annual office holiday party has never been easier – just let Fairplex do it all for you! Cornucopia Foods, the food and beverage company at Fairplex, and Sheraton Suites Fairplex hotel each have a variety of festive party plans for every budget and menu.
Whether it is a major corporate formal dinner or a casual lunch, Cornucopia is prepared to serve, said Linda Torrey, catering manager.
“We can accommodate groups from 10 to 10,000,” said Torrey.
Cornucopia offers parties at four locations at Fairplex: Avalon restaurant; the more intimate Directors’ Dining Room; Top of the Park restaurant, located in the grandstand at Fairplex Park racetrack; and Hinds Pavilion at Barretts. The infield of Fairplex Park could be transformed to a lovely setting for very large groups.
“And we have a menu for every budget, any style – buffet or sit down,” Torrey said.
Sheraton Suites Fairplex has undergone an extreme makeover and the entire hotel looks simply grand. The hotel can entertain in one of its many ballrooms or at a “winter wonderland” at a Holiday Pavilion on the Fairplex grounds. An extensive menu is offered.
“This is a great place to celebrate the season in style,” said Beth Gallagher, director of catering for the hotel. “We offer everything from a four-course meal to a buffet to a cocktail reception.”
A private dining niche in the new Garden Room intimately seats 20 and includes access to the patio with its beautiful outdoor stone fireplace. For the larger set, the hotel can accommodate 2,000 guests in a creatively transformed Fairplex exhibition hall.
