Fairplex, home of the L.A. County Fair and more than 300 year-round shows and events, and Toyota, one of the top car manufacturers in the world, have joined forces, as Toyota has signed a three-year sponsorship agreement to be the official vehicle of Fairplex and the L.A. County Fair.
“We are proud of our new partnership with Toyota Motor Company. Innovation and quality are two things that immediately come to mind when consumers think about Toyota,” said Dale Coleman, vice president of sales, marketing and creative programming for Fairplex. “As innovators in the fair business, it makes sense that we partner with the Toyota Brand.”
The relationship began last year when Toyota signed on as the official vehicle of the 2005 L.A. County Fair. Toyota was so pleased with the association, the company wanted to work with Fairplex year-round.
“We wanted to be part of the Inland Empire and Fairplex helped us make our mark there,” said Jennifer Lin, spokesperson for Toyota. “It creates great exposure for us, especially the Fair. It provides the audience we’re looking for – families and people looking at products.”
The exclusive contract will bond Toyota and Fairplex through 2008.
