In what is an after Christmas/beginning of the New Year tradition, the Giant L.A. RV Show rolls into Fairplex Dec. 26 through Jan. 8. The show is a virtual one-stop shopping experience – offering the coaches, financing and even driving lessons in one location. The show will be in the White Avenue lot at Gate 9. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. There is no charge for admission.
Sales and accessories of recreational vehicles is a $14 billion industry. The number of RV-owning households in the United States is projected to rise to nearly 8.5 million by 2010, according to a study by the University of Michigan. Baby boomers are driving the increase in RV popularity, says the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association. RV ownership now spans a 40-year age range from 35 to 75, with boomers between the ages of 55 to 64 having the highest ownership.
Giant RV, one of the largest dealerships in the country, sponsors the show. It hosts RV shows throughout the year, with the Fairplex show being the largest. More than 350 new and used recreational vehicles will be on display with all brands represented, including Monaco, Fleetwood, National, Weekend Warrior, Thor and more.
Lenders and banks will have representatives at the show for instant financing. Every coach will be discounted and prices and monthly payments clearly marked to provide a no-hassle shopping experience.
