For 21 years, Fairplex has presented a patriotic, one-of-a-kind fireworks extravaganza, and Wednesday, July 4 will be no exception! The sky over Fairplex will explode with color and the grandstand audience will gasp with awe and applaud with enthusiasm as the fun-filled evening culminates in a grand finale that is, well, grand! This year’s choreographed musical theme is “American Journey.”

While fireworks are a 4th of July staple, KABOOM! throws in some elements that set it apart from the rest. The roar from a posse of competing monster trucks, accompanied by some high-flying, rip-snorting, ramp-launching motorcycle daredevils, take to the track and create their own brand of fireworks, hand-delivered to a crowd that loves every minute of the action!
Pyro Spectaculars by Souza, one of the premier pyrotechnic display companies in America, is more than ready for its busiest day of the year. The company presents more than 400 sea-to-shining-sea fireworks crowd-pleasers to celebrate the 4th, and has been with Fairplex’s KABOOM! since its inception. This family event has been a sell-out since 2002, proving the popularity of its unique and eclectic presentation.
Admission for KABOOM! is $19.50 for reserved seating, $16.50 for trackside bleachers and $12.50 for general seating. Ages 2 and younger are admitted free. KABOOM! tickets go on sale at Fairplex’s credentials office beginning Monday, May 14, and are available right up until showtime.
