AT&T has signed a six-figure, three-year agreement with the Los Angeles County Fair Association to be the Official Wireless Communications Company of the L.A. County Fair. The agreement also allows for AT&T to offer discount tickets to the Fair at all of its Southern California locations.
The contract begins this year and continues through 2009. AT&T will serve as a presenting sponsor of Winter Wonderland, one of the Fair’s highlighted attractions. In addition, AT&T will present one of 15 grandstand shows during the End of Summer Concert Series.
“The L.A. County Fair has had a long-standing relationship with AT&T/Cingular. We’re excited and privileged to continue that relationship,” said Dale Coleman, vice president of sales, marketing and creative programming for the Association. “Offering discount ticket sales at all AT&T Wireless locations is a tremendous benefit to both AT&T and the Fair’s customers.”
Discount ticket sales at AT&T Wireless locations will begin Aug. 1. Any day adult tickets will be available for $9, a savings of $6 on adult tickets, and children’s tickets for ages 6 – 12 for $5, savings of $5.
