KABOOM! delivers a totally unique Independence Day bill of fare, and has been for 21 years. Since switching to a nighttime format in 2002, the festivities have enjoyed a sold-out crowd that obviously enjoys KABOOM!
Pyro Spectaculars of Rialto, the premier fireworks company in the nation shows up and fires up the works like no one else. They’ve been with KABOOM! since 1986 when it began as a day-long event. The patriotic choreographed show is themed “American Journey.”
Following opening ceremonies, bring on the freestyle motocross—those daring young men on the high-flying motorcycles that make somersaults, flips, and quite literally, being physically separated from their bikes, look routine. Cheer and they give it up a little more. Scheduled to appear are thrill-givers Billy Walls, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Scotty Stephens and Grant Teal.
Enter the big boys. The roar of monster trucks fills the arena and the crowd erupts in welcome for Bounty Hunter, Natural High, Jurassic Attack, Unnamed Untamed and Maniac. The engines fire up and the action never flags until the trucks leave the arena. Just to add to the fun the audience can cast a vote for their favorite.
KABOOM! is fun, exciting and patriotic family entertainment. Ticket prices are $19.50 for box seats, $16.50 for trackside bleachers and $12.50 for general admission seating. Ages 2 and younger are admitted free.
