The 25th anniversary Great Race, a cross-country rally for classic cars, hot rods, street rods and custom cars, makes an overnight pit stop at Fairplex in Pomona on Friday, July 13.
The Great Race is a re-creation of the legendary New York to Paris “Greatest Auto Race” of 1908. Each year as the race progresses from city to city, fans across the country line up to meet the racers and view their timeless machines in this ultimate automotive adventure.
The race began June 30 in Concord, N.C., and will finish in Anaheim on July 14. This year is the first year that the Make-A-Wish Foundation will be the official charity of the Great Race.
