It’s only the best for our guests. Wine connoisseurs and novices will have an opportunity to taste the premier medal winners of the prestigious Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Competition during the L.A. County Fair, Sept. 7 – 30 (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). The International Wine & Spirits Marketplace, presented by Ralphs, offers tastings and wine education classes throughout the Fair. Fairguests can taste more than 300 gold medal-winning wines from 3,789 wine entries for a nominal fee. This is a rare chance to enjoy so many fine international and domestic vintages in one location. The elite list of wines are from the esteemed competition, which was held in May. Learn about tequila and olive oil, too. Each class features a minimum of six wines and each participant will receive a tasting ticket for a taste of a Gold Medal Winner at the International Tasting Bar. The cost to participate is $12, $15 for the wine & food pairings and $5 for extra virgin olive oil. Food demonstrations are free.
