Holly Reynolds : Director of Children and Family Services

With nearly three decades of child development experience, Ms. Holly Kirkland Reynolds has served as the CDC’s Director of Children & Family Services since 2000. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development from Cal State University San Bernardino. Among her many accomplishments in the field of early childhood education, she has served as Affiliate President for the Los Angeles chapter of the Association for the Education of Young Children. She served as chair of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor’s Child Care Planning Committee, and the Los Angeles County Child Care Policy Roundtable in 2008-2010. She has also completed the Management Development Certificate Program for Non-Profit Program from the UCLA Anderson School of Business. She has completed the California Department of Education Child Development Mentor Director Training, and serves as an official Professional Growth Advisor for the Child Development Permit credential system. In 2010, Ms. Reynolds became a certified Trainer for the social-emotional intelligence program, Conscious Discipline. She provides trainings for educators, parents and other community members on the program of Conscious Discipline and how it can assist children and families.

Bio:
Lynn Stanton-Riggs began her employment with ULV in 1989 as the Education Department Credential Analyst. In 1992, she became Director of Learning Enhancement Services, and in 2001, Assistant Professor of Education. Lynn became Chair of the Child Development Program in 2004.

Cindy’s office is located on site at the Fairplex Child Development Center and serves as our on-site supervisor for the ULV Student program. She serves as an integral part of our leadership team, providing expert guidance regarding curriculum development.
