Top of The Park Restaurant
Top of the Park provides full service dining and buffets during the year and Fairtime with a spectacular view of the track, infield and surrounding landscape.
Utilized year-round, the Clubhouse is easily transformed to fit the need. An excellent source of square-footage for formal to casual, business to recreational and private to public attractions, including museum settings and presentations.
The Grandstand is the site of horse racing, concerts, Easter Sunday services, a 4th of July extravaganza and various festivals. It can provide seating and viewing for 10,000, however Top of the Park restaurant, the Veranda and trackside provides additional seating when needed. There are also Sky Boxes available for concerts that provide a great view of the stage and a private setting for a group.
Horse Race Track
Fairplex Park has been the site of live thoroughbred horse racing since 1933. The track is 5/8ths of a mile and has a surface that is a mixture of clay, sand and bark. A beautiful grass infield complements the area and concrete pathways make for easy navigation.
In addition to being used during the horse-racing meet, filming options are enhanced by the facilities available at Fairplex Park's historic horse-racing venue.
The pari-mutuel windows are convenient and close by for placing wagers during the horse racing meet. The historic scene is also perfect for location shoots.
Fairplex Park is the site of live thoroughbred horse racing during the Fair and the site of concerts both at Fairtime and during the year with multiple stages. The facility can also facilitate rodeos, motorsports and motocross events with ease. The beautiful infield with a spectacular backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains is limitless in its possibilities. Picnics are also held during the Fair with the capability of hosting up to 10,000 guests.
Yellow Gate is one of three main entrances into the annual Fair and year-round events. The entrance was moved forward in 2010 making the entry nearer the grounds.
