Agriculture & Natural Resources

The Agriculture & Natural Resource classes focus on helping students understand the relationship between California's natural resources and the environment. Students will explore concepts and build skills in the classroom and through agricultural related projects that will provide a foundation of knowledge in agriculture and related topics. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for continued study and work in college or in the workplace.

Landscape Design & Urban Agriculture
This is a hands-on class involving landscape design, planting, plant identification, composition, gardening, soil science, and pest management. Learn about gardening, soils and plants, native plants and fruits and vegetables. Study design techniques, learn how to select and maintain flowers, plant shrubs and trees and experience planting herbs and vegetables in a chef's garden.
