Public Programs

Bring your students to “Art Treasures from the Attic" at Millard Sheets Center for the Arts at Fairplex during this year's Los Angeles County Fair. Exhibit Director, Tony Sheets, is putting together another marvelous chronicle of some of the most interesting artistic displays including: wood carving, painting, ceramics, puppets, sculpture, mosaics, robotics and an incredible assortment of found and recycled art.

FAIRKIDS TOURS

  • FAIRKIDS TOURS at The Millard Sheets Center for the Arts are scheduled on Wednesday through Friday (9:30 am – noon) by appointment. The one hour long, interactive, guided presentations are led by Storyteller Jim Cogan and his team of storyteller-interpreters who give life to the artistic wonders of the exhibit. Programs are available for grades 1-12.​  Please make your reservations as early as possible. ART WORKSHOP
Students will create their own masterpiece in the ART WORKSHOP.  Our projects are developed using the California Standards for Art, History and Science Education. Teachers will be provided with a gallery guide and art project instructions.
