Barretts Equine Limited

Located on the grounds of Fairplex Park in Pomona, California, Barretts is now owned and operated by the Los Angeles County Fair Association,
a 501(c)5 mutual benefit corporation.

Six auctions are now held annually. They include sales of 2-year-olds in training, horses of racing age, yearlings and breeding stock. The first million dollar 2-year-old in training, Unbridled’s Song sold for $1.4 million at Barretts’ March Sale in 1995. The highest-priced California-bred of all-time, Unbridled Slew sold for $2.5 million at Barretts in 2006 during the May Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training.
