Packaging Design Judges
Flori Cademartori is a graphic & fashion designer from Southern California. She studied at the Fashion Institute of Design
& Merchandising, where she received her Associates of Arts degree in Fashion Design. She currently owns, designs and
manages a mens' clothing company named Anenberg. This will be her fifth year judging the packaging design
competition and feels pleased and honored to do so.
Rondi Elmslie, along with her husband Neil, own and operate a small graphic design company; Fineline: Creative
Services, here in Southern California. Through her longtime affiliation with the exhibits department at the L. A. County
Fair, she was offered the opportunity to be a part of the judging team for the LA International Olive Oil Competition,
packaging design. "The diversity and thoughtfulness expressed in the design and packaging in this competition was
extraordinary, and it was a delight to be included in the judging process".
Libby Platus is a journalist who travels across the world finding outstanding Chefs, prize worthy cuisine, and food
products; exciting locations to visit; and noteworthy designs to share with her readers in publications across the globe.
She has written for Bon Appetit, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, Restaurant Hospitality, La Opinion, Relish, Santé,
and many others. In addition, Libby judges a wide variety of culinary and design competitions including: Reykjavik's
Food and Fun, Iceland; Top Chef: The Tour‐Los Angeles at Hollywood/Highland; Puerto Rico's Saborea Festival, San Juan;
Jack Daniels World Championship BBQ, Lynchburg, TN; Canadian International BBQ, Whistler, BC; Roma Western States
Pizza Competition, Los Angeles/ Long Beach; Truxton's American Bistro, Westchester, Los Angeles, The Taste Awards, etc.
